My World #51: State of Seine-Sation
When I took these photos I didn't know which river this one. I looked it up online and it says this one's Seine River. Now if I am mistaken please feel free to let me know, after all I don't want to pass incorrect information to you all.
This is one of those must-do when in Paris. If given another chance to visit the City of Lights, I would cruise the Seine.
Simply beautiful. We stopped and watched the water for a little bit, snapped some shots, and breathed in the crisp autumn air.
Is this La Conciergerie? Can someone tell me?
If I were picking a favorite among all the Paris shots I took, this would be it. It wouldn't be too difficult to imagine myself falling in love in and with Paris.

I'm not that familiar with all the names of the places I recognize in Paris, Maria, but I do know this is the Seine River. My sister, who first convinced me to go visit, loves Paris. She thinks she lived there in a past life. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved the last pic. I am not too sure about the names of the places, but I am sure the first photo was shown in the movie Before Sunrise. =) Now I want to rewatch the DVD tonight because of your post.
ReplyDeleteif i remember correctly, this part of the Siene is near the Notre Dame. yes, the last pic so beautiful and oh so romantic.:p
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Paris and "La Seine" Maria.
ReplyDeleteYes this is the "Conciergerie" and the other shots were taken along the "Saint-Louis" island and "La Cité" island.
Beautiful pictures BTW!
For some reason I think I like like Alaska more. Must be more adventurous I guess. The cuddling couple is a great shot for Paris though.

The architecture of buildings across the river is beautiful. Lovely place to cruise.
ReplyDeleteYou took some great shots in Paris. So beautiful. I always regret that the two times I've visited Europe (including Paris), I wasn't into photography and took very few photographs. Good to enjoy the ones talented bloggers like you have taken.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! That was one of my favorite places in Paris and we did take the boat down the Seine, too! I loved those bridges and you could always see the romantic couples! This did bring back such lovely memories of my time in Paris! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Sylvia

ReplyDeleteif you took these pics going to the notre dame church, then yes, that is the sienne river. i am not so much familiar with the structures...unless it's the louvre. :)
ReplyDeletea sienne river cruise should be on your agenda next time you go to paris. :)
It's beautiful! The city of love with that romantic hugs in the lower picture. You can still dream on. Why love has an age boundary? You should have grabbed your hubby and hugged him there! At least for a memory of Paris! :)
