Skywatching on The Tour Bus (Sky Watch #124)
From the moment that the tour bus left our hotel I was skywatching as I always do when I am on a moving vehicle. Here are some snapshots of the Cancun/Yucatan scenery with my skyscape.
Can you tell that it was a H-O-T day? The beautiful cloudscape made up for the heat and humidity, besides the tour bus had air-conditioning.

Those hot humid days always make for fabulous skies; you have to take the good with the bad! By the way, the Skagit Valley tulip festival is usually in April. It sort of depends on the weather and when the tulips are expected to bloom. If you go up there, you no doubt will visit Seattle, right? You should also go to Fidalgo Island and then take the ferry over to one of the San Juan Islands for a couple night stay. I'd recommend Orcas Island. If you go to my Travel blog you can find a lot of photos from my various adventures up in that region. Springtime is a great time to go there. You could also head over to Vancouver or Victoria. It's all very close by...just depends on how much time you have. I'll be heading up there in Feb. as I'm on sabbatical this semester and don't have to go into work everyday :)
