I Heart Bicycles

Lately, I've been widening my interest in photographic subjects. I'm still interested in general landscape and doors and windows. I am collecting, yes collecting photographs (thanks to Ginnie for this concept) of different subjects. Currently I'm in the process of building my album on street lamps. However, I found that I have enough bicycle shots to show you, to merit a post on my series, I HEART.

    This is a very nice sequence of bicycles, Maria, many kinds and colors.
    Yesterday I was just looking here in Turin at the yellow rent bicycles lined up in their parkings.

    i agree...bikes are fascinating subjects. there is an element of melancholy in them. i haven't been out on photo walks lately...too lazy most of the time, it's the heat--gives me headaches.:(

    Bikes have always been great friends and travel partners. I had a bike that took me to see the girl I loved.

    A fine series with a nice amount of variety. I've found myself looking for anything but more barns. For Barn Charm on Tuesdays I've concentrated too long on one theme.

    i've been taking pictures of motorcycles and riders. which means i'm at stop lights when i do it. one big biker recently showed up alongside my car. i took pictures. i erased it immediately.

    his helmet had a swastika on it.

    See! I love it, Maria. "Collecting" different themes/subjects with the camera is so fun. Lately I've been on a weathervane and gable-stone kick. Your bikes are wonderful, of course, and remind me of all the ones we see here in the Netherlands everywhere. You'd have a heyday here, as you already know!

    Yes, photogenic indeed... I got stuck at that first photo and was looking beyond, you know the words on that wall. :D such a nice addition and bg for the bike.
