What I Did on the First Day of Autumn
We were welcomed by the friends' 5-year-old who showed his soccer know-how.
The home team (blue) won that day and here are some of the shots I took (naturally, I brought my camera).
Happy faces after the win. The league is for girls 13 years and under.
When the game was over, the hubs and I had to run an errand in Oakland.
Naturally we found ourselves driving to Chinatown. No pictures after this because you know, our hands were busy with eating.
OUR WORLD TUESDAY
A fine series of action shots of the game. You made some excellent "freezes" of exciting moments. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo - perfectly timed!
ReplyDeleteEating in Chinatown sounds like a super way to end the day.
ReplyDeleteGreat captures of the action! Great timing indeed in that first shot! Terrific! And ending the day with dinner in Chinatown sounds perfect to me as well!!
ReplyDeleteLittle 'soccer man' is adorable but don't they wear helmets? Wonderful photography and fun shots!

ReplyDeleteI like the action shots, especially the one of the ball (I assume) that just bounced off the young boy’s head. Seeing all this activity would certainly make me hungry, too. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots! I got the urge to join the game. :)

ReplyDeleteThe first photo is my favourite, preparing for the pain of heading the ball.
ReplyDeleteGood action shots. I hope you enjoyed the meal - lucky you.
