Views from the Window Seat: From New Orleans to Salt Lake City
Leaving New Orleans with the mighty Mississippi in sight.
We flew over the Rockies, which I must say I enjoy viewing from up there.
Finally arriving in Salt Lake City.

Hmmmm. What's that with the "nervous energies" lately, Maria, I wonder? Well, thank goodness for Hubby who took these great pics...and you putting them together for us. Who knew the Mississippi was so wide...and the Rockies so beautiful. Well, we all did but it's like finding out all over again!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about "nervous energies." I've been getting them the last few times we flew. I heard flying over the Rockies can cause quite a turbulence? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have gotten to sit in the window seat!
ReplyDeleteThose are some pretty awesome shots - especially of the Great Salt Lake.
ReplyDeleteI used to be a window seat hogger when I traveled in my single days but lately when I travel with my hubby I find it is better to have an aisle seat so I can rush off to the loo ever so often. I might have a bladder problem hehe but my point is I let the hubs take the window seat nowadays. :D
ReplyDeleteWOW!Fantastic photos from the airplane window!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
Wow, these are fantastic window view shots!

ReplyDeleteGreat photography shots while air traveling ~ beautiful! Thanks, carol, xxx ~ Happy Weekend ~
ReplyDeleteOMG, how on earth can someone take very clear photos from a moving airplane. I always take window seats whenever i go, but i confess, i haven't take shots these clear. Are these straight out of camera (SOOC)? And i wish i can take a flight on top of snowcapped mountains like that at least once. I saw that twice but far from us, i had to strain my neck.
ReplyDelete@ ANDREA: yes these are SOOC, that's why they are hazy. i liked them despite that so i never bothered to do some editing. plus i wouldn't know how to fix them anyway. but i did put my little stamp/name on them though.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it is fun to watch down the window. I too used to click pictures through the window until once an air hostess objected!
ReplyDeleteThe window seat is my favorite just so I can look out of the window and take photos, too! Great set of shots! SLC is very picturesque when landing. I'm excited that I can now use my camera throughout the flight.
ReplyDeleteFantastic aerial views. I have never taken such shots so far.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views. I too love the window seat!
ReplyDeleteMaybe your hubby could give a tutorial on taking shots from an airplane (settings, etc) - these are stunning! Happy SWF!

ReplyDeleteThe Rockies - my neighborhood! Nice shots - I also enjoying looking out a plane, but in my case my wife always takes the window seat, and then sleeps.
ReplyDeleteNice flight shots -- your hubby is as good as you are! I love it so much when I see somebody else taking sky pictures -- I always try for a window seat so I can do that, but everybody else always seems so bored and ho hum about the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteThe rockies are magnificent from up there!
