Boys on the Beach
Last summer a childhood friend of my husband's came to the US for a work-related trip. Naturally, we offered to host him for a few days, depending on his schedule. Fortunately, he was able to sneak in a long weekend away from work duties. We took him around San Francisco and the Monterey area, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was after our trip to the aquarium that we decided to have him a little taste of Central California coast experience. He loved it. He said it's one of the best spots he's been (he travels for work). I let the boys go down to the beach, while I stayed up by the cliff. I enjoyed taking pictures of them and I took a lot. It was late in the afternoon, but the blue skies of the summer lingering the whole time we were there.

ReplyDeletethese are really great shots (came here from debbie's blog) and well, the series of pictures was nice coastal and all that - but there was an extra artsy feel with the red hat and red jacket and how nice it was against the water and rocks - and the arms opened feeling - this was so nice - glad I was able to drop by!
ReplyDeleteFabulous blues in these shots.
ReplyDeleteThe beach would be my go to spot for a getaway too. Lovely photos.. Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteTo play with waves at the beach under the blue sky, it always feels nice, free, and comfortable. Your photos show it.
