Sunset Over the Bay

After our photo walk at the dog park where I took photos of the dogs, birds, and kitty and the bright blue sky, the hubby and I drove to the Oakland hills to await the appearance of sunset. Surprisingly, it didn't take long after we pulled up on the side of road that the sky turned golden. I suppose it's still winter after all.

Here are a combination of my husband's and my shots. The better ones are his. I was carrying a small point and shoot and he got the DSLR with tripod to boot. We were standing high up in the hills overlooking the bay with both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge in front of us.

  13. Great light - I do believe that the trees in the first picture could be gum trees.
