Port of Call: Santorini (Oia Badabadoo!!!) Part 2
Once we reached the end of the line for the ferry, I took off like a madwoman. I started shooting like there's no tomorrow. Well in this case, literally there is no tomorrow in Santorini for us. We were here only for a day. I was prolific. I took more shots than necessary.
I would like to keep this post with as little words as possible, because you know, it's Santorini. Before I stop talking/writing, let me reiterate my feelings about Santorini. It is one of the very few places that look better in person than all the photoshopped photos online.
I should have warned you that this post contains excessive amount of photos. Well, I couldn't help myself! Being in Santorini, I felt like a kid given free rein in a candy store. Travel date - October 2014.

Beautiful part 2, Dear friend♪ I LOVE and enjoyed all the scenery with white building with fancy architecture♡♡♡ I smiled the way you used the word 'prolific' and said 'felt like a kid given free rein in a candy store'; I can easily guess. And, sorry for the news about the country.

Very beautiful post of delightful views. Love the white buildings.
ReplyDeleteYour fine series sells itself. Excellent photography and capture of the spirit of this place.
ReplyDeleteWow - so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful. It's good that you were prolific! I've never been to Santorini but have been to two other Greek islands and love the blue sea, the white buildings and the blue roof combinations.
ReplyDeleteThe whiteness of all the buildings is overpowering. The one with the furniture and ocean in back is surreal. Excellent compositions for "whim" shots. You are too modest!
ReplyDeleteI can so relate!! I've been to Santorini and I loved it!! Thanks for the wonderful memories and thanks for sharing the fun and the beauty!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a place on my photography list. It always looks so wonderful with the whitest of buildings and bluest of skies. Gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteSantorini is on my list of places I would LOVE to visit again.
ReplyDeleteI love Santorini, we were there 4 weeks ago on our cruise and we saw it at nighttime as the ship didn't leave until 10pm -such beautful place and I loved Oia too when we visited it a few years ago, have you had Vin Santo? they even put it into ice cream in the town. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteWow! This post captivated me - what a stunning place, but I hope you like stairs!
