Morocco: The Storks and Cats of Chellah (Rabat)

As I said in the previous post, I expected to see cats in Morocco. Well, everywhere to be exact! But storks? I haven't even seen them in person before this day and so seeing so many nesting in Chellah was such a treat.

The resident cats had made the visit to Chellah even more memorable. Although these cats are not friendly to strangers.

    Your Chellah storks are prettier than Florida wood storks -- I'm envious ;>). But their nests look very much like ours -- big and messy! That IS an egg, wow! That's an amazing camera catch.

    And you have amazing kitty karma -- you sure do find them everywhere you go!

    Interesting combination of feathers and fur along your journey. With birds bigger than the lean cats, a dangling egg could be their best and only snack.
