Playing Hooky In Mt. Tamalpais State Park
The challenge with what to do for the hubs birthday every year comes from the fact that his birthday lands on or near the Thanksgiving weekend. So this year when his birthday landed on Tuesday after the Thanksgiving weekend, I was completely stumped. We took the day off and wanted to do something, anything. The birthday celebration began with a movie matinee. We knew the day would end with dinner in a French bistro in Sausalito, but what to do between the movie and dinner?
Thankfully the hubby was quick to think of a hike and so off to Mt. Tam we went. It was my first time to hike at Mt. Tamalpais state Park. We've driven here before, but not explore. So it was really a delight when the sweeping views of San Francisco bay and the city came into view. The city views which were normally fog-shrouded were quite clear this time.
The husband spotted a beautiful scene from the hill below us.
What a beautiful day it was.
