Weekend In San Diego: Twilight in Coronado
In order to save a bit, we decided to fly to Long Beach and from there drive two hours to San Diego. It was a pretty full flight that left Saturday afternoon (cheaper that time), but husband was seated by the window and got these images from above.
While the drive to the San Diego was mostly within speed limit, we still arrived in the city late in the afternoon. My friend and her family met me at the hotel and we drove to Coronado Island for a view of the city from across the water.
We failed to capture the sunset. By the time we arrived, the sun has long set.
The other side of the island we got to visit another day with the intention of seeing the sunset. However, we got there a bit later than we did the first time.

One of my most FAVORITE cities in America. Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI'll second Anni's comment... Coronado is a favorite spot for me, and so photogenic! Cool window seat shots! I think a couple of those are the Huntington Beach pier with Ruby's Restaurant at the end with the red roof.
ReplyDeleteWowsome captures all!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful city. And from my blog, I haven't yet visited all 50 state. I'm probably missing around 15 at this point, although I'd love to see them all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo visit that was ! Thanks for sharing your lovely skies

ReplyDeleteI agree with a previous comment: a lovely photo visit, indeed. I've always loved San Diego.
