Roadtrip to Yellowstone: Day 2, Mormon Row


It was my idea to go to Mormon Row, after seeing all the images online. What was an old Mormon settlement is now a tourist spot especially popular for photography enthusiasts. Just my luck, it was a bit rainy and cloudy and a little sunny - just a little bit of everything. But we made the most of the hand we were dealt with.

    Really beautiful photos! I've never been to the area, but I want to go. Nice capture of fall colors and I love all the old wood structures!

    Yes, indeed, you did make good use of the hand you were dealt. In fact, some times the colors are richer under cloudy skies...and you caught them nicely.

    I love your take on Mormon Row. putting it in context of the bigger picture around it. Last time I was there back in August, tour buses were showing up and it was swarming with people.

    Nice combo of the fall leaves on the trees with the wooden houses - they look like a postcard. Glad you caught them on film for your blog. I love reading about your adventures complete with stunning pictures.
