Amateur photog's online photo cache. All photos are original pics taken by author and her husband. This is not a place to see those awe inspiring Ansel Adams, these are ordinary subjects shot on a whim most of the time.
These are lovely photos. I love the flowers against the cloudy sky. The last photo of the dancers is truly delightful!
ReplyDeleteHello, lovely tour of Salt Lake. I like the flowers and the sculpture. I have only been to the Salt Lake Airport and the rental car company on our way to Yellowstone and the Tetons. Great post and photos. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day. Have a great weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the nice reminders of our sabbatical year ['79-'80] in SLC. What makes the city particularly attractive is the Wasatch Mountains surrounding it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteYou got some good shots in the short time that you were there. I have some young Latter Day Saint relatives who used to work for the church downtown.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots, love the blue skies, green grass against the concrete buildings
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a great city to explore. I've been there multiple times on business, but never had the opportunity to just look around and sight see.
ReplyDeleteCreative photography of a lovely place ~

What a great city, wonderful sights!
ReplyDeleteSLC looks great.
ReplyDeleteyes it does look very clean and well looked after - good to see.
ReplyDeleteI remember how clean it was...we toured the part of the Tabernacle that is open to the public and looked around their awesome genealogical library (that was years ago, before you could access it on line). Also, there is an island in the lake nearby where there are bison.
ReplyDeleteA lovely, little look
ReplyDeleteDuring a business meeting in SLC I was lucky to have a break which allowed me to attend a rehearsal of the Tabernacle Choir. So memorable!
ReplyDeleteA quick look at the city. It does look very interesting and maybe if you're there again, you'll have more time to explore.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
I made that trip some 25 years ago bot did not see anything of Salt Lake City. Just passing through. :(
