Egypt: Day 3 (Cats at the Temple in Philae)

If you are regular readers, you know that I have a way of weaving cats into my travel chronicles. Thus, this post is not a surprise to you.

In the entrance to the Temple in Philae under the trees live a clowder of cats. Imagine my surprise to find cute four-legged residents. They wowed the crowd and they handled all the flashing phones and cameras like veteran red carpet walkers. They were not shy at all. Visitors shared water and whatever food they have in the backpacks and in return the cats posed and accepted pets and scrtiches. Unfortunately, my time was not my own and I devoted majority of it to the structures inside the complex and could only manage little time to mingle with them on the way out of the complex.
