A Day in Arrecife (Lanzarote), part 3

After visiting the Castillo de San Gabriel (previous post), my friends wanted to do some shopping, while my husband wanted to stroll around the area and explore this part of town. So we split and agreed to meet up later.

It's a charming town with nice architecture and colorful buildings that housed stores and boutiques on the ground floor.

Empty, because of the downpour. We're the only ones braving the rain and the chill in the air.

I also took a few shots while riding the Hop On Hop Off bus earlier in the day.

Before we walked back to the port, we stopped for coffee and gelato in one of the many cafes by the waterfront.

  1. Too bad someone ruined that art work in front of the wooden door. Vandalism.

  7. I like how different the buildings are from here, having a coffee at that cafe on the water would be nice and peaceful.
