A Day of Sightseeing in Funchal, Madeira, part 3


Stop #3 was a ride to the highest viewpoint in Madeira at Miradouro do Cabo Girao. This spot was crowded and a fellow visitor offered to take our photos even though we could easily do a selfie. I thought that was really sweet. This perch offered million-dollar views of the island. Breathtaking sight with the sun shining splendidly.

The next stop, #4, was at another viewpoint. Here again, incredible scenery awaited us and we could not stop taking photos.

    That viewpoint wouldn't be good for me with my fear of heights. I've gotten better over the years, but as a friend would say, I'm not "cured" yet. - Margy
