Let's Glow SF 2025
In the spirit of the Holiday Season, the 5th annual Let's Glow SF put on a incredible display of light projection on various building all over town. We almost missed it this year due to busy schedule, but managed to go see the shows at the last day of the show. This program was launched in 2021 to invigorate downtown, boost economic development, and celebrate art and technology (pandemic time), and has become a favorite winter activity.
Ferry Building:
Across the street from the Ferry Building is R-Evolution, a 45-foot-tall, steel and mesh sculpture of a nude woman in a yoga pose (tadasana). It Represents feminine strength, liberation, resilience, and empowerment, challenging underrepresentation in public art.
Pacific Stock Exchange Building
We only hit 3 buildings that were participating in the show since we were coming from work and we're a bit running out of steam. However, we managed to make a necessary stop at City Hall for more light show, although they City Hall is technically not a part of Let's Glow SF.
There are just some of the projections, but this last one is my fave. I really love the color scheme of this one.
Here's to fresh beginnings, clearer goals, and stronger connections in 2026. And thank you for all the visits this year and in the past years.
