Doesn't this image remind you of a typical Philippine city? Taken in Queens, NY.

I haven't ever been to the Philippines but interesting to know that parts of Queens, NY remind you of there. I almost got stumped by the creamy theme too.

Love your NY Minutes photos - hope you had a good trip.

I struggled with creamy too and almost didn't post this week. Thanks for visiting mine and see you next week!

Did you like my line of clouds in the Val di Susa???

Thanks for your information about Joy. It's more than a week I can't display Norwich Daily Photo: IE7 gives me a message of "impossible connection". However, I hope all is going well for Joy.

Have a great weekend!

I wouldn't know what a typical Philippine city looks like but I'll take your word for it.

Not having been to the Philippines, I can't say, but it doesn't look like NY! I love the color of the sky!

Looks to me like an average American city.

Looked very deserted and quiet.

It's a pleasant street scene with a fine center dividing line of trees. As to the Phillipines...don't know. The low viewpoint makes the building to the right loom over the shot... very effective.

There's also a lot of Filipinos residing in Queens.

Queens is the most ethnically diverse borough in New York City. It is home to a very large Filipino community.
