Photo Hunt #13: Scary

IMG_0108, originally uploaded by airam94564.

There was a time in my life when dead trees/naked trees were simply scary, particularly when silhouetted by the moonlight. It could also be just a product of my over active imagination. I do blame all those horror movies though.

Before I thought they were scary; now I find them beautiful and full of character and personality.

  5. It is interesting how point of view changes. I also love the beauty of bare trees but they certainly play a part in many scary movies.

  6. Ohhh, I know what you mean. Naked tree limbs can have a frightful effect. But photos like yours also show their simple yet powerful appeal.

  15. Oooh, that is spooky! We see a lot of burnt trees on our way to Yosemite, it makes me sad that so many trees have died (but probably the rangers set certain parts of the forest on fire, on purpose).
