Beautiful Skies
This autumn seem to be a boon for skywatching. The sky seems more vibrant and alive and expressive. The sunsets on the other hand appear to be more dramatic. Thus I find myself always shooting at the sky. Just yesterday while I was out on an errand the sky was very dramatic after a day of downpour I was devastated that I forgot to bring either a small camera or my phone and got nothing on me to capture the sky.
The following however I took while on the drive back after our mini vacation. The first image is blurry but I love it. All are straight out of the camera.
On November first I had my camera with me so I was able to capture the cloudscapes. Honestly, I can't remember why I was lugging my small camera around, but I am happy I did.

All your skies are beautiful Maria, but the golden ones are beyond gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThose are nice skies. And to answer your question on my blog, it is actually very late for a first snow for us; I've seen snow the first week in September at our house.

Amazing skies. Well captured.
ReplyDeleteLoved the contrasts you presented. Great pics!
ReplyDeleteWell i love most the last photos because of the towering junipers or is it cypress? They always remind me of temperate countries.
ReplyDeleteI feel your devastation (for not having any camera at cruical moment) ;-). photos taken are nice, sunsets ( I also like the 'blurry' one), the one with power pole and birds and I just can't get enough of blue sky and white clouds.

so good feel for the first four photos..
ReplyDeleteI always have my camera around with me now. It's not one of those big-ass cameras anyway so it's very easy to carry it with me anywhere I go. You never know what's in store for you when you go out. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see how changeable the sky can be!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great variety of photographs.
